Mini Nectarine Pies

– 2/3 cups granulated sugar

– 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour

– 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1 cup heavy whipping cream, or alternative 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted + 3/4 cup milk, mix, then pour mixture in the amount recipe calls for

– 2/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, or 1/4 teaspoon almond extract

– 5 nectarines

– muffin/cupcake tin (12 spaces)

– nonstick spray

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)

– 1/2 cup vegetable oil

– 4 fluid oz. cold milk

1) Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees farenheit. 2) Mix the sugar, flour, cinnamon, and extract in a medium sized mixing bowl. Carefully stream in whipping cream. Mix well.Set aside. 3) Get a pot, and start boiling some water. Once boiling, carefully drop in the nectarines. Boil nectarines for at least 30-45 seconds. After boiling, drain, and immediatly run cold water on the nectarines, just for a couple seconds. Peel, cut, and then set aside. 4) Now its time to make your dough. Quickly spray a muffin tin with your non-stick spray. Set the tin aside. 5) Here’s the “fun” part; Making the dough. In a mixing bowl, mix the flour, salt, vegetable oil, and milk. Beat hard. It may take a lot of work, but if you mix it well, the dough will work perfectly! Roll out dough using a roller. Not to thin or thick, otherwise the dough will not taste like it should. Leave some extra dough for the line/dough crossing over the top.  Line the muffin tins with dough. Cut the extra dough on the top off, extra on the top, and form a pile. That way you can reuse the extra dough. 6) Pour your mixture in each spot of dough, then layer the nectarines on top. Use extra dough, in the shape of rectangles, to cross over the filling on top, in the shape of a plus sign (optional). The only reason why I said to use 5 nectarines, is because we have a nectarine tree in our backyard; therefore they are much smaller, and 5 was the amount I needed. The store-bought ones are larger, so you may have to use 3 or 4. If you really enjoy a fruity taste, you can use 5 nectarines. 7) Insert tin into preheated oven. Bake for 24-25 minutes. Take out, and allow to cool. Serve hot or cold. Enjoy!

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

INGREDIENTS:          Any allergies? Read alternative(s) note below directions. Thank you!

– 1 cup cold strawberries

– 2 fresh bananas, cut up

– 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 1 – 2 cups milk

– extra strawberries and banana pieces for garnishing

1) Measure 1 cup of strawberries, then cut off the stems. Once all of your strawberries are stemless, put them in the blender. 2) Peel both bananas, then cut up into small pieces. Insert to blender. 3) Measure 1 1/2 cup sugar. Pour into blender when done measuring. 4) Carefully pour in the milk, slowly streaming it in. 5) Turn blender on to high, and mix until light and smooth.            6) Take some extra strawberries and cut off stems. Slide onto side of a cup until a slit appears on the strawberry halfway in the center. Put 2 pieces of banana in the middle of the smoothie, which has been poured into cup. Insert a straw (optional) and serve. Enjoy!

NOTE: This is a healthy snack for everybody, but if somebody has any allergies, it’s probably not going to be an enjoyable treat. So, here are some alternatives for dairy milk. If you or your  child has an allergy to dairy milk, you can change the dairy milk to soy milk, almond milk, coconut milk, or any other non-dairy milk you can think of. It will not change the flavor of the smoothie much, and this way it can still be a fun, flavorful, and healthy non-allergic snack. Thanks! and use website often. Bye!

Set aside. 3) Pour the oil in a skillet on medium heat for at least 4-5 minutes. When splatters, turn on low if necessary. 4) Grab a pot, and in it mix the sugar, water, vanilla/rose water, and cardamom. Stir. Let it boil, then simmer for just 2 minutes. Turn off after boiled and simmered. Set aside. 5) Now take your dough back out. Flour a surface, and put the dough on it. Yes, the dough might be SUPER STICKY! But that’s how it is supposed to be. Knead dough thoroughly, then form into about 20 small balls. Next, drop them in the oil skillet very carefully so that the oil does not splatter you.  Put them in about a handful at a time. When they turn golden, take the balls out. 6) Now that the balls are done, put them in the syrup pot to soak up the delicious syrup sauce for 5 minutes. Turn pot on low heat, just to keep it warm. 7) Take the balls and syrup out,put in a bowl,  and serve immediatly, or chill. Enjoy!

About me, Ashley Pascual!

Hi! My name is Ashley Pascual and I’m 11 years old.  I just started this website because I’ve realized that I love cooking and baking so much. I’m very passionate about cooking and I’m really good at it. I think cooking is not just a hobby, but also a sport. My dad helped me set up this website, but I did the rest so far. It all started when I was making a delicious batch of  chocolate cupcakes. When I saw all the great websites that I could choose from, I thought of creating my own. So the next day, we got started. This website should have a new post everyday if I can, and should be mostly recipes for cooking and baking. I’m gonna start out with the dessert recipes, then work my way down from there. If you have any requests, please leave them in the comments below and I’ll try to respond. Having this website is like a mini dream come true. I hope you know a little bit about myself now. Visit and use site often! Thanks for the chance and trust, and I hope you have a great day! Bye!!!

Put it in the pre heated oven for 16 – 17 minutes ( 17 works best ), or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. When done baking, take out and let it cool for 3 minutes. 5) Now take your glaze back out. For this one you have to act quick! While your brownies are still warm, quickly and carefully spread out your glaze onto the top of your cooked brownies. Let it cool for about 2 more minutes or until cool, and serve. Enjoy!
